We know who Sumner is, Elizabeth doesn’t, but she seems to blunder on anyway, assuming that Sumner wants her. I didn’t realize it was the last book in a series when I got it through bookswap, but it made me want to read the rest of the series anyway.

The majority of the book focused on the deception, which, with the tiniest bit of perception on the part of the heroine, could have been seen through.

But I felt that the romance story was rushed and more could have been told and the author left us with a twist. However, I have no intention of going back to the first two. Her association with the prince proves dangerous when a sniper shoots at them. Rules of Engagement annoyed me and this one got similarly bad reviews on Amazon so I’m skipping it.
The central plot of this story is that of someone pretending to be someone else in order to protect him. The man in her dream, Sumner Landsdowne, Marquess of Whitedale, is pretending to be his cousin, Prince Leopold, who prkpose to be in danger.

I did like the end when all three couples came together to finally solve the mystery of their parentage. The book was a bit more “soft porn” then I”m used to in a romance novel but I still really enjoyed it. Books by Kathryn Caskie. Secret identity stories are always engaging. Elizabeth tends to be able to foretell certain events in her life through dreams.
There are no discussion topics on this book yet. Refusing to surrender her dreams of a royal wedding, Elizabeth takes the position of lady-in-waiting to the princess, determined to get close to her perfect match.
Sumner isn’t actually Prince Leopold, as everyone thinks, but his cousin; the real Prince Leopold is quietly wooing Princess Caroline in the background. This story follows the fortunes of Elizabeth, the one remaining unmarried triplet who has dreams that often become true. I liked Sumner as a hero, but at times his determination to deny himself because of duty became tedious. Kathryn lives in a year old Quaker home nestled in the rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains with her family, her greatest source of inspiration.
